Upon arrival at the Kiosk we will get you to quickly fill out some paperwork and then take payment (if applicable) including a pre authorisation deposit of £100 which if done by card will be pending for 5 days and automatically return. We suggest making the deposit in cash as to avoid having your money held for 5 days.
Next we will get you ready to explore the River Dart with confidence!
Safety First: Safety gear will be fitted which includes inflatable life jackets for adults and flotation jackets for children.
Navigability: We supply a map and a quick explainer on how to navigate the river safely. Cruise up to Dittisham at any tide and stop for some lunch at the Ferry Boat Inn. If you wish to go beyond, tide-dependent access—ask us for details prior to booking via email. riverdartboats@gmail.com
Rigorous Maintenance: Our boats are inspected, licensed, and equipped with all essentials: oars, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, anchor with warp, and a full tank of fuel.
Booking Made Easy: Secure your adventure online. Same-day bookings available at our Dartmouth kiosk, subject to availability. Call us on the day for last-minute inquiries. Please note we only accept bookings in advance via the booking system we do not accept them over the phone. If you have any issues with our booking system please email us.

Bookings can be made on the day at the kiosk in Dartmouth providing there is availability, or call the kiosk on 07545 518546 to check.
There is only limited parking in Dartmouth and none over 4 Hours. It is recommended that you use the Park and Ride facility. Dartmouth is extremely busy indeed and the park and ride facility can get fully booked, you should leave plenty of time to find car parking.
